Hi-Fi Brand Jamo Returns with New Speaker Range Under Fresh Ownership
Danish hi-fi brand Jamo is staging a comeback, with new owners confirming a fresh speaker lineup will debut in June.
The long-established audio brand, founded in 1968 and once one of Europe’s largest speaker manufacturers, was sold in 2024 by Voxx/PAC (parent of Klipsch and Onkyo). It has since been acquired by Chinese firms Cinemaster and Rayleigh Lab, following a period of inactivity.
Cinemaster, a major audio distributor in China, and Rayleigh Lab, which specialises in audio R&D and manufacturing, say they will revive Jamo with a renewed focus on design, craftsmanship and modern listening needs. The first products from the relaunched brand will be unveiled at the Vienna High End Show in June.
Cinemaster CEO Xiaodong Yang (pictured) says the strategy is to blend Jamo’s Scandinavian heritage with contemporary technologies.

The upcoming range is expected to span entry-level through to high-end systems, alongside connected and lifestyle audio products.
Jamo’s Danish roots will remain part of the equation, with some production continuing in Denmark while leveraging manufacturing in China.
Design direction will involve European talent, including Kim Michel and UK-based Studio ISO, with an emphasis on Nordic-inspired aesthetics, sustainable materials and refined acoustics.
More details are expected when the new range is formally revealed next month.
