Symantec Executive Leaves After Seven Years

Symantec executive Steve Martin has left Symantec Australia, after being with the company for almost seven years. During his tenure, Martin was Symantec’s SMB director for the Pacific region. According to Computer Daily News, Martin will be working as a consultant for Channel Dynamics.

Channel dynamics was founded by Moheb Moses and Cam Wayland, with the company describing itself as a “boutique channel consulting firm, specialising in assisting ICT companies to sell more effectively to and through the channel.”

Pacific region MD Craig Scroggie believes Martin was a positive driving force in Symantic, saying in a statement Steve has become a well-known figure in the IT industry, regularly speaking on panels and participating in industry events. Steve leaves Symantec on good terms and we would like to thank him and wish him all the best for the future.”

Replacing Martin is Jeff Arndt, being appointed director, channels and alliances in the Pacific Region.
