Google Issues Warning To 2 Billion Chrome Users: Update Now
Google is urging Chrome users to update to the latest version, after at least 25 new Chrome security vulnerabilities, including seven that are flagged as “High” level, have been discovered in the past fortnight.
The issues affect macOS, Windows and Linux users alike, and can be bypassed by updating to version 96.0.4664.45.
Chrome 96 also features “back forward cache”, a feature that speeds up page loading times by storing your most recently viewed pages in memory.
Visit Settings > Help > About Google Chrome, to ensure you have the latest version.
