Google Home Can Now Pair With Bluetooth Speakers

Google has added a new feature to its Google Home range, giving users the option to pair any of their Google Home devices to Bluetooth speakers in the home creating a smart multi-speaker system.

The tech giant says after several users wanted the company to ‘amp up the sound’ on their Google Home Mini they decided to bring out this new feature across the whole smart speaker range.

To enable the function, open the Google Home app, go to device settings and follow the pairing instructions to make it your default speaker. Then give it a whirl by asking it audio related questions such as, “Hey Google, shuffle my workout playlist” and the music will automatically play on your Bluetooth speaker—without you having to tell Google the name of the device.

However, users will still need to speak to the Google Home device for the usual queries.
