Garmin’s new Approach X10 is scheduled to release sometime in February, for RRP$249.

The new Approach X10 claims to be a comfortable and easy-to-wear band, fitted with a 1-inch touchscreen.

Garmin states the device features a rechargeable battery with up to 12 hours of use in GPS mode.

Adam Howarth, General Manager Garmin Australasia, affirms that the Approach X10 is made for golfers of all skill levels:

“The Approach X10 is a simple and intuitive band perfect for beginners just starting to learn the game, or for avid golfers who want a fundamental golf band used exclusively on the course”

“Even if you’ve never played the course before, the Approach X10 will give you the tools to swing with confidence”.

The new Garmin Approach X10 allows users to gauge precise distances around the golfing green, including viewing hazards via its touchscreen display.

The device’s ‘Green View’ provides users with the layout of the green, where they can easily pin a location to assist with accurate shot selection.

The new Approach X10 adds to Garmin’s existing range of golf watches, and is compatible with the its Garmin Golf app. The app features a leaderboard across several courses, to fuel every golfer’s inner champion.

Garmin’s free Golf app also allows individuals to compete against friends and golfers on the same course – individuals can also set up their own tournament event. Scores can be manually added to the app, or directly uploaded via the Approach X10 band.
