Garmin has expanded its smartwatch lineup with the launch of the Venu 4 and Instinct Crossover AMOLED series, combining advanced health tools, AMOLED displays and rugged design.

The Venu 4 is available in two sizes – 41mm and 45mm – with AMOLED screens, metal cases and multi-day battery life.

The 41mm model features a 1.2-inch display with 10-day battery life in standard mode, while the 45mm model offers a 1.4-inch screen and up to 12 days of use.

Both are water-resistant up to 5ATM and support over 25 fitness activities including running, cycling, swimming and golf.

New software features include Health Status, which monitors heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep, skin temperature, and Pulse Ox to detect trends that could indicate stress or illness.

Lifestyle Logging lets users track habits such as caffeine and alcohol intake, while sleep tracking now includes circadian rhythm insights.

The watches also include a built-in LED flashlight, speaker, microphone and voice assistant.

Instinct Crossover AMOLED

On the rugged side, the Instinct Crossover AMOLED combines a bright AMOLED screen with traditional analogue hands, scratch-resistant sapphire glass, and military-grade durability (MIL-STD-810).

Its RevoDrive technology recalibrates misaligned hands automatically, while multi-band GPS and SatIQ ensure accurate tracking even in challenging environments.

A tactical edition adds stealth mode, night vision compatibility, and ballistics tools for specialised users. Battery life ranges from 14 to 18 days in smartwatch mode.

“From a day on the hiking trail to a night on the town, Instinct Crossover AMOLED offers the best of both worlds,” said Susan Lyman, Garmin Vice President of Consumer Sales and Marketing.

“With traditional analogue hands highlighted on an even brighter display, adventurers can achieve a sophisticated look without sacrificing the durability they need when pursuing their passions.”
