Foxtel has reportedly poached former Vodafone Hutchinson Australia CFO James March. Mr March is set to join the newly merged Foxtel and Fox Sports entity as Chief Financial Officer in late July.
As per previous reports, Foxtel is set to undergo a major re-structure, with McKinsey and Co reportedly called in.
March’s appointment follows the departure of Gavin Dumsday early this year.
With over eighteen years experience at Vodafone, Mr March has been company CFO since 2013.
Speaking of the new hire, Foxtel Chief Executive, Patrick Delany, claims Mr March’s financial leadership will ensure the company is prepared for coming success.
Delany adds it was important the new CFO had experience in a large scale customer-focused company.
As previously reported, Delany won the role of Chief Executive in January, ahead of former Foxtel CEO, Peter Tonagh.
