Foxtel Launch 4K Rugby World Cup Channel

Foxtel has continued to expand its sports arsenal with the launch of a dedicated 4K Ultra HD channel for the Rugby World Cup 2019.

The 4K channel pledges to provide exclusive coverage of every match of every nation from the Rugby World Cup 2019 LIVE, ad-break free during play.

The new ‘RWC 4K Ultra HD’ (499) channel will launch on September 18, with the tournament kicking offf on September 20 with an opening ceremony.

The channel will feature all 48 matches, including the final on November 2, and is available exclusively to Foxtel Sports HD subscribers with an iQ4 set-top box.

Other Foxtel and Foxtel Now subscribers can view every match of every nation LIVE in HD and ad-break free during play via FOX SPORTS 503.

Foxtel is also showcasing the RWC 4K Ultra HD channel to patrons of over 4,500 licensed venues (venue list available here.)
