For The Price Of An iPhone 15 Pro, You Can Now Get A Samsung S23 FE Phone, Tablet And Buds

For the price of a midrange iPhone 15 Pro with 256GB of memory, you can now buy the new Samsung S23 FE, the Tab FE tablet and get a pair of the latest buds from Samsung with the release today of a completely new family of Samsung products.

Ironically, the launch is taking place on the day that Goole is rolling out their mid-range Google Pixel 8.

Bundled up the new Samsung offering of smartphone, tablet and buds is going to cost you around $2,200 with most retailers happy to cut deals to match the cost of the $2,100 iPhone 15 Pro.

The standalone Galaxy S23 FE is set to retail as we tipped last week at $999 while the new Samsung Galaxy tablet which looks impressive is going to cost you another $999, the buds that come with winged ears for better in ear fitting is retailing for $199.

The last Samsung FE product was back in 2021, and in that time, Motorola has stripped share from Oppo in the market and are now a real problem for Samsung who has lost share in the mid-range market.

Their latest offering is impressive and comes in a multitude of colours.

Samsung describes the new FE series of products of capturing, Samsung’s iconic design, pro-grade Camera and smooth gaming performance.

What’s not known is what damage the new affordable premium FE range will do to Samsung’s premium range with the South Korean business now building a major foothold in the premium foldable market.

According to sources, Samsung’s shipment rate for its latest foldable phones Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 were 10% higher than their predecessors with the business building share in this category.

As of mid-September, the tech giant had only 8 weeks of inventory left for the two models, with production lines now working overtime to meet demand.

Samsung orders parts for its smartphones on a 2-week basis, with the Company now ramping up orders to component suppliers.

According to Samsung insiders the new Galaxy Z Flip 5 is racking up 65% of Samsung’s volume for foldable devices.

All in all, Samsung could be looking at a combined shipment of 10 million units with 7 million units coming from Fold 5 and Flip 4 and 3 million units coming from legacy models that now include the new Samsung Galaxy S23 FE model.

Last year, the South Korean company shipped around late-9 million units of foldable phones.

The new S23 FE has a new floating camera and premium finish protected with IP681 water and dust resistance. On board is a 50MP high-resolution lens, and 3X optical zoom.

After dark, Nightography with the Galaxy S23 FE lets you take clear selfies and portraits in lifelike colours.

With advanced digital image stabilisation (VDIS), you can take steady shots on the go using the rear camera with optical image stabiliser (OIS) angle.

For gaming and streaming, Galaxy S23 FE’s powerful processor makes every action rapid and fluid with a vapor chamber that helps to control heat and sustain performance.

The device has a 4,500mAh battery that intuitively adjusts to conserve energy.

As for the display it has 6.4-inch3 Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with built in Vision Booster technology.

The bold colours, include Mint, Cream, Graphite, and Purple Indigo and Tangerine.

Tablet
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE come in two sizes.

They deliver large Screen Viewing, IP68 Durability, and the inclusion of an S Pen is ideal for users on the go.

There are two sizes, 10.9-inch, and a Tab S9 FE+ with 12.4-inch display that featuring an automatic refresh rate that adapts up to 90Hz.

Sunlight is no match for Vision Booster, which enhances visibility in outdoor environments by optimising colour and contrast especially in the dark area of screen.

The battery will deliver up to 20 hours of video playback on a single charge.

Like the Galaxy Tab S9 series, the Tab S9 FE and S9 FE+ include a wide variety of creative tools and apps, including fan-favourites like Goodnotes7, LumaFusion8, Clip Studio Paint9, and more. Easily keep class notes, sketches, videos, and more with up to double the storage10, plus the option to upgrade to 1TB with a microSD card.

The Galaxy Tab S9 FE series is available from AU$749 in four fashionable colours Mint, Silver, Grey, and Lavender.

Galaxy Buds

The first thing you notice about these buds is the new design with wings that allow for a more comfortable fit.

On board is ANC that delivers an innovative sound experience.

The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Ambient Sound enable you to hear more clearly especially when around a lot of noise.

Automatic personalised beamforming by the three-microphone system, along with AI-powered Deep Neutral Network (DNN), separates your voice from unwanted background noise for clearer calls.

Galaxy Buds FE provide up to 8.5 hours of playback with earbuds and total up to 30 hours including the charging case12. Even when using ANC, users can get up to 6 hours of playback with earbuds and total up to 21 hours including the case. Inspired by the iconic and ergonomic design of the series, Galaxy Buds FE are engineered to be comfortable enough to wear for a long time and enable a more customised fit with three different sizes of ear tips and two different sizes for wingtips.

Galaxy Buds FE are available for AU$199 in two distinct, modern colours: Graphite and White.
