EXCLUSIVE: Monster Dumps Harvey Norman

The Harvey Norman owned distribution Company Arisit has been dumped as the sole distributor of Monster cables and accessories, the new Australian and global distributor is Brightstar.

In Australia several retailers who dropped selling Monster branded products because of it’s links with Arisit a Harvey Norman owned Company are expected to start selling the Monster range which includes headphones, cables and power supply accessories.

Under Arisit management sales of Monster products are believed to have gone backwards with Arisit also competing with retailers by selling Monster products direct on their own retail web site.

Previously the brand was distributed by Convoy who delivered year on year growth in Australia. During this period retailers such as JB Hi Fi and The Good Guys stocked the product along with the specialist channel and selected consumer electronics retailers.

Brightstar management in Europe confirmed their appointment at the IFA 2018 trade show in Berlin.
