ECOVACS to Showcase Cleaning Bots at IFA
Most Westerners think of ECOVACS as a manufacturer of robot vacuums.
But ECOVACS has long aspired to do a lot more than simply make vacuums.
At the upcoming IFA 2025 in Berlin, it will be staging an “all-scenario” robotics showcase spanning floors, windows and lawns.
The Chinese company is currently best-known for its Deebot vacuums.
But it’s bringing its ‘Robotics for All’ approach to Europe in a bid to position itself as the only company tackling the full spectrum of domestic cleaning.
IFA organisers are promising big things, stating, “At this year’s IFA, ECOVACS is set to unveil a groundbreaking leap in all-around intelligent cleaning. Guided by its mission of ‘Robotics for All,’ ECOVACS continues to redefine what’s possible across every home scenario—from floor to window to lawn.”
That vision has long underpinned ECOVACS’ world-conquering ambitions.
As it says on the company website, “Long before the ‘Smart Home’ concept became fashionable ECOVACS Robotics (ECOVACS) was already at the forefront of innovation in smart home robotics… ECOVACS’ more than 24 years of work in service robotics has seen the company transformed from a visionary startup into a global corporation with a Mission of Robotics for All. Designed to change the way people live and work, ECOVACS robotics are now being used in over 145 countries and regions around the world.”
At IFA, attendees will get a real-world taste of the company’s guiding Vision – “Advancing robotic technologies to serve the world, to create a holistic ecosystem between human and robotics in lifestyle and production.”

ECOVACS is slowly but surely automating away household chores
In Berlin, ECOVACS is expected to spotlight its flagship Deebot floor range, alongside its Winbot window cleaners and its GOAT robotic lawnmower. For now, robotic lawnmowers remain a niche category but one tipped for significant growth as AI-powered navigation improves.
This year’s showcase aims to persuade Western buyers that ECOVACS ‘ lesser-known offerings can replicate the success of the Deebot for windows and lawns.
It’s already got this message across in its home country, where Winbots are a common sight and GOATs are becoming more popular.
Competitors such as iRobot and Roborock remain focused on floor cleaning. That’s allowing ECOVACS to position itself as the only brand thinking holistically.
If the company’s much-anticipated Robotics for All showcase impresses buyers, tech journalists, and industry professionals, expect Australian retailers like JB Hi-Fi to start stocking not just Deebots, but Winbots and GOATs too.
