ECOVACS Launches New DEEBOT Robot Vacuum Range With Advanced Roller Mopping Technology
ECOVACS Robotics has announced two new robotic vacuum and mop systems for Australia and New Zealand, expanding its range of automated floor cleaning products. The company introduced the DEEBOT T90 PRO OMNI, which is available immediately, and confirmed that the DEEBOT T80S OMNI will follow in early April.
The launch continues ECOVACS’ push to develop roller-based mopping technology in home robotics. The company says the approach is designed to address one of the most common concerns among consumers about robot cleaners, which is the effectiveness of mopping performance. Since the introduction of its roller mopping system in the earlier DEEBOT X8 series, the technology has been adopted by more than 1.6 million robotic vacuum units sold worldwide.
The latest models expand the roller mopping concept beyond premium flagship devices and into more accessible price points. ECOVACS says the aim is to make hands-free floor cleaning available to a wider group of households while continuing to improve cleaning performance.
The higher-end DEEBOT T90 PRO OMNI introduces the company’s latest OZMO ROLLER 3.0 system. This version features an extended 27 centimetre roller mop designed to increase floor coverage compared with earlier designs. Combined with high-pressure water delivery and fast roller rotation, the system is designed to remove dirt, spills and grime in a single pass while washing the mop during operation to reduce the risk of spreading contamination across floors.
The T90 PRO OMNI also includes several technologies aimed at improving cleaning efficiency and runtime. PowerBoost technology restores battery power during mop-washing intervals, allowing the device to recharge slightly while operating so it can continue cleaning larger homes without interruption.

Vacuum performance is supported by ECOVACS’ BLAST system, which delivers up to 30,000 Pa suction and air flow rates of up to 16 litres per second. The unit also includes TruEdge 3.0 edge-cleaning technology to clean along walls and skirting boards, as well as the TruePass four-wheel drive climbing system that allows the robot to navigate thresholds and small steps.
Maintenance has also been addressed through ZeroTangle 4.0 brush technology designed to prevent hair from wrapping around the cleaning brushes. The robot connects to an OMNI station that performs hot water mop washing, automated cleaning and other maintenance tasks to minimise manual intervention.
Artificial intelligence also plays a role in the device’s operation. The AGENT YIKO system uses scene recognition to identify different rooms, floor types and pet areas, allowing the robot to adjust suction levels and water flow automatically.
The DEEBOT T80S OMNI will join the line-up in April as a more affordable model while retaining many of the core technologies. It uses the OZMO ROLLER 2.0 mopping system, which ECOVACS says can apply up to 16 times the cleaning pressure of conventional dual-plate mopping designs.
The roller rotates at speeds of up to 220 RPM while applying mopping pressure of about 3,800 Pa. The system is designed to remove stubborn stains while remaining safe for surfaces such as tiles and timber flooring.

The T80S OMNI also includes TruEdge 3.0 edge cleaning and a Triple Lift system that raises the mop roller and brushes when different floor surfaces are detected. This helps prevent moisture from transferring onto carpets while optimising cleaning across mixed floor types.
Vacuum power reaches up to 24,800 Pa, while the ZeroTangle 3.0 brush design reduces the need for manual hair removal. Navigation is handled through AIVI 3D 3.0 technology, which uses a vision-language model to recognise objects and move around obstacles while maintaining close cleaning coverage.
The robot has a slim 98 mm body designed to move under furniture, along with wheels capable of crossing obstacles up to 20 mm high. Like the flagship model, it works with an OMNI station that performs hot water mop washing and hot air drying to keep the mop clean and reduce odours.
The station can also automatically empty collected dust, allowing the system to operate for up to 90 days without needing manual disposal of debris. The mop washing tray is designed to operate for up to 150 days before requiring maintenance.
Karen Powell, regional director for Australia and New Zealand at ECOVACS, said the new models were developed in response to growing demand for technology that simplifies everyday tasks.
She said the company’s current focus is on making advanced home robotics easier to use while allowing households to spend less time on routine cleaning.
According to Powell, the two new models highlight the company’s belief that roller mopping technology will play a central role in the future of automated floor care.
The DEEBOT T90 PRO OMNI is available in Australia from 10 March 2026 with a recommended retail price of A$2,299. It will be sold through retailers including Bing Lee, Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys, Retravision, Amazon and the ECOVACS online store.
The DEEBOT T80S OMNI will arrive on 9 April 2026 with a recommended retail price of A$1,799 and will be available through the same retailers.
