Ninemsn To Promote Bing
The 12-month ad campaign, put together by Moon Communications Group, will be spearheaded by a TV campaign on Channel Nine. There will also be online commercials on Ninemsn and print ads on ACP magazines.
Under the tagline “Bing, and Good things Happen”, they will focus on the theme that “positive things can arise from searching”, Ninemsn CEO Joe Pollard told advertising industry rag B&T.
In the US, a similar marketing push for Bing appears to be paying off. For the second month in a row Bing increased its US market share, according to researcher comScore. Bing accounted for 8.9 percent of search queries in July, up from 8.4 percent in June and 8 percent in May. Google had 64.7 percent and Yahoo 19.3 percent.
