Disney+ Offers Free Two-Month Subscriptions To Fortnite Players

Epic Games has teamed up with Disney to offer free two-month Disney+ subscriptions to players who spend real money in Fortnite.

From Wednesday to New Year’s Day Australian time, purchases of real-money items or V-Bucks in Fortnite will come with two months of Disney+ for all new subscribers aged 18 or over (existing Disney+ customers are not eligible).

Epic has also extended the offer to customers who have already made real-money purchases this month, with players able to claim the free subscription on purchases made since November 7 Australian time.

The promotion is part of the “Nexus War” event, a collaboration between Epic and Disney that has seen Marvel comic and film characters appear in the game over the past several months.

Epic is currently in court fighting iPhone manufacturer Apple over the removal of Fortnite from the App Store, after the developer implemented an alternative method for in-app purchases that bypassed the 30 per cent so-called “Apple Tax”.
