IFA 2019: Crackerjack TCL Smartphone With Big Capability To Be Released Soon

TCL who are already the #3 smartphone brand in Australia with their Alcatel offering are set go after new share with an all new TCL Plex smartphone he Plex smartphone that has three cameras: a 48-megapixel snapper a 16MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP cam that’s meant strictly for low-light shooting.

The new TCL offering was announced at IFA 2019.

One of the big benefits of the new TCL offering is the expansion in low light video shooting and new video performance shooting, but the really good news is that the device that is up there with brands such as Oppo and Samsung’s mid-tier as well as Nokia devices will sell for sub $600 which when announced at IFA draw a big applause from the press attending the event.

The Plex is a midrange device which looks good it has a great slim design and an excellent display and camera from what ChannelNews can make out.

Colours on the TCL Plex’s screen are intensified with a 6-axis colour enhancement for radiant images. Edges are honed with 2D edge enhancement for sharper pictures and visual contrasts are made more striking without being over-exposed with targeted contrast enhancement. With an SDR to HDR real-time conversion feature, the TCL Plex offers an HDR-like video enhancement with increased contrast, amplified colour, brighter highlights and darker shadows.

There is also a Super Night Mode for those dark, dark environments.

Under the bonnet the Plex has a 6.53-inch FHD+ LCD display that TCL has called “Dotch” because of its hole-punch cut-out at the upper left, they have even applied for a patent for the name and concept.

Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 675 process, the smartphone also features 128GB of storage, 6GB RAM, and a 3,820mAh battery.

The phone supports microSD storage up to 256GB, it’s also got Bluetooth 5.00 which supports four users attaching to the device.

It also has a headphone jack, with the “Super Bluetooth” option allowing for up to four Bluetooth speakers or headphones to connect to the Plex simultaneously.

All the TCL smartphones including the display screen are manufactured in TCL factories.

It’s tipped to be launched in Australia in October 2019.
