Tablets have long been the in-between phone and laptop, for those who want the best of both worlds.
Lenovo has taken a different approach by repurposing the humble tablet to become the centrepiece of your connected home.
Giving users a full-featured Android Tablet with the benefits of 2nd gen Google Assistant through its Ambient Mode experience.
Featuring mid-field voice recognition with dual microphones and a dedicated signal chip, the Smart Tab can detect your voice from up to three meters away.
Suitable for households with multiple users, the tablet can be customised for each user, included a Kids Mode with dedicated content and parental controls.
Supplied with its own Smart Charging Station, the tablet remains upright when not in user, and doubles as a smart speaker/ screen.
Lenovo is following in the aesthetic footsteps of LG and Samsung with the introduction of the Smart Frame, a screen with aesthetics and design of a picture frame.
Taking inspiration also from Netgear’s Meural, the Lenovo Smart Frame features a ‘canvas-esque’ design to display your best images or artworks on a matte anti-glare screen,
The including Colour Tone Sensor automatically adjusts the brightness of the display with ambient light.
Able to be mounted on the wall or an easel stand, the snap-on mounting system allows you to rotate the frame a full 90 degrees.
Built-in AI functionality also helps to curate your photo’s by selecting high-quality images to display in digital collages.
The frame also comes with a companion ap with hundreds of artworks that can be displayed.
Bringing it all together is Lenovo’s Connected Home Security subscription software designed to protect your connected home from digital intruders.
Made available through Lenovo’s Vantage software, the subscription service is designed to reduce the risk of unauthorised access to your connected devices in real-time.
