CES 2018: Razer Unveils Gaming Speaker Line ‘Nommo’

Lifestyle gaming brand, Razer, has unveiled a new line of PCs speakers, the Nommo and Nommo Pro, aimed to offer “full-range, balanced audio for movies and music”.

The Nommo Pro is a THX Certified, 2.1 speaker system with Dolby Virtual Speaker technology and simulated 5.1 surround sound for “gaming immersion”, whilst the Nommo is a more affordable 2.0 speaker system.

Razer’s Nommo line was designed to provide gamers with responsive audio. The entire line features “accurate positional audio” via true left and right stereo imaging, thereby providing gamers with a clear understanding of where sound is coming from, for quicker and more accurate responses.

The Nommo Pro incorporates Independent Tweezers for “enhanced highs” to capture the minute details of gaming audio. It also incorporates a USB, Optical, Bluetooth, 3.5-millimeter jack and control pod, to provide source controls and a headphone jack within reach.

A dedicated Nommo Pro mobile app provides sound customisation.

Users can also use Spotify and listen to music through the speakers via Bluetooth.

Australian pricing and availability is yet to be confirmed.

Price:

  • Razer Nommo USD$99.99
  • Razer Nommo Chroma USD$149.99
  • Razer Nommo Pro USD$499.99
