![]() Panasonic is expanding its small appliance range, starting with two new juicers, on sale this month. The juicers have a generous 1.5 litre jug, offering a large volume of juice for multiple serves.
The appliance major is also launched a new website, The Ideas Kitchen with healthy juice recipes and other tips and hints, everything from ‘Glow Juice’ to ‘How to Make a Chocolate Cake’ in 60 seconds, in a microwave.
The new models (MJ-DJ01SST and MJ-SJ01KST) are available in stainless steel and black variants, a large feeder tube, 120 degree spout rotation and stainless steel blades. The juicers cost $249 and $199, respectively.
The wide 75mm diameter tube cuts chopping time as whole portions of vegetables and fruit can be inserted directly, meaning juices can be made in minutes. The 2 litre pulp container reduces the frequency of emptying during juicing. Both juicers have impressive extraction rate, extracting enough liquid from an orange and tomato to represent around 70 cent of their total weight.
The stainless steel blades removes more pulp during filtration as well as being easier to clean and there’s 120 degree rotatable spout enables users to fill multiple glasses at once.
Belinda Toner, Panasonic’s Product Marketing Manager, Small Appliances, said:
“Our new range of juicers provide quick and easy juice extraction, catering for health conscious consumers with little time to spare.”
