Overpriced SanDisk Challenged by Lexar With Faster Memory Card

The Professional 2000x SDHC/SDXC UHS-II cards are geared toward users who need to transfer FullHD, 3D and 4K video content.

 They come in 32GB and 64GB capacities and is selling in the USA for $105 and $184, respectively.

In comparison a SanDisk Extreme SDHC 64GB Memory Card is selling at Harvey Norman for $249, the same card is selling in the USA for significantly less.
 Read speeds on the new Lexar card can reach up to 300MBps, Lexar said, with 260MBps write speeds.

 Each card comes with an SD UHS-II reader. 

The company also announced its new SD UHS-II Professional 1000x card lineup, with cards in capacities from 16GB to 256GB. Read speeds for this card reach 150MBps, according to the company, with write speeds of 95MBps. Pricing ranges from $31.99 to $546. The cards will be available in Australia shortly.
