BritBox Gears Up For 2020 Oz Launch, Builds Out Local Team

The video streaming service BritBox – a joint venture between BBC Studios and ITV – is gearing up to launch in Australia this year and is building out its local team.

Moira Hogan

BritBox has appointed Moira Hogan as Australia’s Country Manager. Hogan is joining BritBox from Network 10, where she was Head of Content and Commercial Partnerships for Digital Media.

“Moira has an impressive background in launching and growing digital products, with experience across content, commercial and strategy. She has the ambition and vision to lead this exciting new offering for Australian audiences,” said Fiona Lang, General Manager for BBC Studios ANZ.

Richard Hill

Richard Hill, who is joining BritBox from his position as Digital Strategy Lead for SBS, has been appointed as Head of Launch Marketing and PR.

BritBox will be an ad-free, video-on-demand streaming service and will offer a range of British dramas, comedies, documentaries and lifestyle shows.
