BREAKINGNEWS: Melbourne Based Distributor Kaiser Baas Sold

NZ owned IT distribution company, Exeed Limited has purchased the Kaiser Baas brand name, the move follows the recent exit of sales director Neil Karberry.

Directors at Exceed who distribute several major consumer electronics in New Zealand claim that they have acquired the Kaiser Baas, brand name as part of its expansion strategy particularly into Europe and the Middle East where the Kaiser Bass brand is known and where Kaiser Baas has been getting sales traction.

“I feel privileged that we have acquired Kaiser Baas” says Desmond Ling, Director Exeed Limited. “Having worked closely with founder and former CEO, Evan Kourambas, over many years, our shared passions and philosophies make this an exciting move for Exeed. Kaiser Baas will operate as a completely independent company, all existing employees will be retained, and investments are already being made to develop the product roadmap which will enable us to pursue market share on a local and international level”.

“I couldn’t be prouder than to have Exeed acquire the Kaiser Baas brand,” explains founder and former CEO of Kaiser Baas, Evan Kourambas. “Our customers and employees have welcomed the acquisition”.

Since inception in 2008, Kaiser Baas has grown and evolved into a recognized CE brand. “I am confident that Kaiser Baas is in good hands and the Exeed team will take it to the next level. As for me, it is time to take a break and spend time with my family.”

Acquiring Kaiser Baas compliments Exeed’s strategy to own and develop lifestyle and accessory consumer electronics brands that utilise and support our existing channels. Exeed already owns the Smaak and Moyork brands. We intend to lead the way with this emerging trend amongst distributors globally to own and develop brands within their business.
