BREAKING NEWS: LG GM Of Marketing Quits

Angus Jones the General Manager of Marketing at LG Electronics Australia has quit.

He joins a long list of senior managers to quit the South Korean technology and appliance Company.

Jones quit on Friday and left the Company on Friday night.

He told ChannelNews that he had not taken up another role and it was his decision to leave the Company.

“LG are a great Company and I have spent 4 good years with the Company”.

Prior to joining LG Jones spent four years working at Dell as Marketing Director and head of Global Client Sales & the Companies Marketing Enablement Strategy.

An experienced marketing executive he said, “I felt it was time to move on”.

LG Australia thanked him for his leadership of the brand during the past four years.

In a statement to ChannelNews they said “Angus has overseen a period of growth and change during his time with the company. His deep understanding and experience has been invaluable, and we wish him well for the future.”

The company has begun a search for a new head of marketing. LG Australia will be working with partners and customers to ensure a seamless transition period.
