Beats has introduced a new Power Pink finish to its range of braided charging cables, giving customers another option to match their accessories with the company’s latest headphones and earbuds.

The new colour has been designed to complement products including the Powerbeats Fit and Solo 4, allowing users to create a coordinated setup rather than relying on a standard black or white charging cable.

While the bright finish is the standout feature, Beats says the woven construction has also been developed with durability in mind. The braided exterior is reinforced to better withstand everyday wear, including repeated bending, pulling and general use that can shorten the lifespan of lower-quality charging cables.

The cables are compatible with both Apple and Android devices, supporting charging, data transfers, audio playback and Apple CarPlay connectivity where supported. This makes them suitable for a wide range of smartphones, tablets, laptops and audio devices.

Customers can choose from several configurations depending on their requirements. The 1.5-metre USB-C to USB-C cable supports charging at up to 60 W, while the longer 3-metre version increases charging capability to as much as 240 W. Both models support USB 2.0 data transfer speeds.

For users with older charging hardware, Beats also offers a USB-A to USB-C version capable of delivering up to 15 W on compatible iPhone and iPad models.

The USB-C to USB-C models also provide additional functionality when paired with compatible Beats products. Users can continue listening while charging supported headphones and speakers, and the cables support lossless audio playback on compatible devices, offering features that are often absent from inexpensive third-party alternatives.

The Power Pink braided cable range is available now through Apple’s online store. The 1.5-metre USB-C to USB-C and USB-A to USB-C versions are priced at approximately A$39 each, while the 3-metre USB-C to USB-C cable is available for approximately A$62.

Release date and pricing for Australia have not yet been confirmed.
