Bang & Olufsen has introduced a new limited-edition audio package that blends one of its classic turntable designs with modern wireless speaker technology, creating a system aimed at vinyl enthusiasts who want contemporary streaming features alongside analogue playback.

Called the Beosystem 3000c Dune Grey Edition, the setup combines a restored Beogram 3000 Series turntable with a pair of Beolab 8 speakers. The launch forms part of Bang & Olufsen’s ongoing Recreated Classics programme, which focuses on bringing historic products back to life through refurbishment and integration with current-generation technologies.

The centrepiece of the package is an original Beogram 3000 turntable from the mid-1980s. Each unit has been restored by Bang & Olufsen and retains key design elements from the original model, including its lightweight tonearm and vibration-reduction technologies designed to improve playback performance.

Alongside the vintage record player are two Beolab 8 wireless speakers. These modern speakers support a range of streaming platforms and connectivity options, including Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Chromecast, AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth 5.3, allowing users to move seamlessly between vinyl records and digital music sources.

Visually, the Dune Grey Edition adopts a refined aesthetic inspired by Scandinavian landscapes. Grey aluminium surfaces are paired with dark walnut accents across both the speakers and turntable, creating a consistent appearance throughout the system.

Exclusivity is a major part of the package. Bang & Olufsen will produce only 100 examples worldwide, with every system carrying its own unique serial number and authenticity certificate. The limited production run is intended to appeal to collectors as well as long-time fans of the brand.

According to Bang & Olufsen, the project is about more than simply restoring old products. The company sees the concept as a way of preserving iconic audio designs while adapting them for modern listening habits.

The Beosystem 3000c Dune Grey Edition is available through selected Bang & Olufsen retailers. Pricing starts at approximately A$46,000 based on current currency conversion, placing it firmly within the luxury audio category and making it one of the company’s most exclusive music systems currently on sale.
