Back To CE & Appliance Industry For One Nation Candidate Who Took On Chris Bowen

It’s back to the consumer electronics business for former Belkin Channel Manager and General Manager of Ecovacs Damian Commane who in just a few short weeks managed to snare 8% of the vote in the seat of McMahon up against former shadow Treasurer Chris Bowen who is now facing an uncertain future after he bundled Labor’s economic policy.

Standing as a candidate for Pauline Hanson’s One Nation party Commane told ChannelNews last week that if he failed in the seat he would head back to the CE And appliance industry.

The final count is not yet in yet but at that stage, Labor’s Chris Bowen appeared headed for victory with a basic 47pc of the vote or 57pc on preferences, ahead of the Libs’ Vivek Singha with 33p/43pc.

Commane was running third with just 8pc of the vote.
