Australia Post Latest Target Of Phishing Scam

Like most people in lockdown, I am awaiting quite a few parcels from Australia Post.

And, like any scammer worth his/her salt, one enterprising person has supposed that this might just be the case for most Australians, and has targeted Australia Post customers waiting for a package.

I received this semi-offical-looking email this morning.

Anyone reading a tech site will quickly notice this email comes from an insane address, and the email title uses more underscores than a teenage girl setting up an MSN account in the 90s.

Still, your elderly parents might not know the difference, and could soon be giving across sensitive information — like that ‘missing address’ — to those with nefarious motives.
