Audio Pro has refreshed its rock-inspired Drumfire wireless speaker range, first launched in 2018.

The Swedish brand has unveiled the new Drumfire II W and Drumfire D-2 W with upgraded sound tuning, a redesigned app and broader streaming support.

The new W-generation models are designed to bring smarter connectivity and improved usability while doubling down on scale and impact.

The headline act is the Drumfire II W (pictured below), a large, floor-standing wireless speaker delivering 200 watts of Class D amplification.

It uses twin soft-dome tweeters paired with two 13.7cm woofers, and Audio Pro says it’s tuned for “pure, bold sound” with crisp detail, whether you’re listening quietly or pushing the volume. Around the back, there are RCA inputs and a subwoofer output for those who want to expand the system further.

Joining it is the more compact Drumfire D-2 W (pictured below). With 100 watts of Class D power, twin tweeters and dual 11cm woofers, it can work as a standalone speaker or be stacked with the larger model.

When paired together, the system automatically adjusts its crossover so the bigger cabinet handles the deepest bass, allowing higher volumes with cleaner, less strained sound.

Both speakers support Audio Pro’s multi-room platform and a wide range of modern streaming options, including Google Cast, Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect. They’re controlled via a revamped Audio Pro app, which the company says offers a cleaner layout and easier navigation, building on improvements introduced with last year’s well-received C20 W.

The design stays true to the Drumfire’s roots, with faux-leather wrapping, hand-stitched detailing and aluminium accents, available in white, grey or black. Six physical preset buttons on top let users jump straight to playlists or radio stations without reaching for their phone.

In the UK, the Drumfire II W is priced at £600 and the Drumfire D-2 W at £350, with Australian pricing and availability yet to be confirmed.
