Arlo Drops Pricing Across Camera Range

Arlo has announced it will drop the price for a select number of security cameras within its range.

The price drop will see a three-camera kit in Arlo’s state-of-the-art Ultra 2 range drop from $1,299 down to $1,099. The Arlo Ultra 2 Camera is now $379 for a stand-alone unit, down from $449.

Arlo Essential Spotlight Camera drops $40, moving from $199 to $159, while the Arlo Wire Free Video Doorbell was $299 and will now sell for $229.

Select multi camera kits across the Essential Spotlight Camera, Ultra 2 Spotlight Camera ranges have also been reduced.

The Arlo Pro 5 2K Spotlight Camera was recently launched at $329 as part of this new pricing initiative, which the company says is to make home security more affordable for consumers.

“Security should be accessible to everyone, and we believe that cost shouldn’t be a barrier to achieving that. With this price repositioning, we’re making it easier for people to protect what matters most to them at a time of rising financial stress,” Arlo Vice President of Sales — APAC, Bradley Little said.

The company’s cameras now start at $159, for the Arlo Essential Spotlight Camera.
