British hi-fi brand Arcam is celebrating its 50th anniversary with the launch of two new Radia Series products, the A50 Signature integrated amplifier and CD25 CD player.

The Cambridgeshire-based audio company will debut both models at High End Vienna 2026, with global availability through authorised dealers from Q3 this year.

Founded in Cambridge in 1976 as A&R Cambridge, Arcam built its reputation on amplification, starting with the A60 integrated amplifier.

The company, now part of Harman Audio, says the new A50 Signature is not a retro anniversary product, but a modern expression of its Class G amplifier technology.

The A50 Signature (pictured) sits at the top of Arcam’s Radia Series and was developed with input from Arcam co-founder John Dawson, whose signature appears on the rear cowl and printed circuit boards.

It is Arcam’s first integrated amplifier to feature a fully dual-mono Class G architecture, with each channel using its own PCB, output stage, Class G lifter stages, power regulation and transformer windings. Arcam claims the design improves channel separation and reduces crosstalk.

Power output is rated at 2 x 150W into 8 ohms. Digital conversion is handled by an ESS ES9039Q2M DAC in a fully differential configuration.

Connectivity includes HDMI eARC/ARC, USB-C audio, optical and coaxial S/PDIF, two-way Bluetooth with Snapdragon Sound and Auracast support. Analogue inputs include three RCA connections, balanced XLR, and a Class A MM/MC phono stage.

The CD25 (below) is positioned as a new flagship CD player for the Radia Series and supports CD, CD-R and CD-RW playback. It uses a dual-mono DAC architecture with ESS Hyperstream 4 technology, a linear toroidal power supply and vibration-damped internal construction.

The player includes balanced XLR and RCA outputs and is designed to pair with the A50 Signature, SA45, SA35 and A25+ amplifiers.

Pricing is set at US$2,999.95 for the A50 Signature and US$1,799.95 for the CD25. Australian pricing has not yet been confirmed.

The launch comes as parent company Harman also celebrated JBL’s 80th anniversary with the new Summit Everest and Summit K2 flagship loudspeakers at High End Vienna.
