Korean company BH, a parts supplier for Apple and Samsung, is in takeover talks with LG Electronics as it moves to acquire the tech giant’s in-car wireless smartphone charging business.

“Discussions are underway to acquire the in-car wireless smartphone charging business as part of efforts to diversity business portfolio and bolster competiveness,” the company said in a regulatory filing.

The deal is reportedly worth A$154 million, and includes LG’s technology and human resources from its vehicle component solutions division. LG entered the space in 2017, and supplies ‘solutions’ to the likes of General Motors.

BH produces the rigid flexible printed circuit boards used for high resolutions displays, supplying the parts to Samsung and Apple.
