Apple Releases Beta iOS

Apple users can now download beta versions of iOS 13, iPadOS, MacOS Catalina, and tvOS 13 – but it’s a users-beware situation.

Developers have had access to the OS platforms for some time, but this is the first time the public can test them out.

The betas will update periodically until their final release, which will probably coincide with new hardware announcements at Apple’s annual September event.

Users are being warned that the releases may seem stable, but they could contain bugs that won’t be squashed until the final releases are rolled out.

One of the biggest changes is the end of iTunes.

It is now three separate apps: Apple Music, Apple Podcasts and Apple TV.

Apple also claims the new iOS for iPhones will have a 30 percent speed increase for Face ID unlocks.
