Apple Quietly Discontinued iPhone 11 Pro

In the midst of component shortages, a slew of new announcements, and speculation over the iPhone 13, Apple have quietly stopped manufacturing and selling its iPhone 11 Pro models, despite their popularity.

Commentators suggest the pivot is a way for the company to simplify its supply chain, and to shore up components for its forthcoming releases in the midst of a worldwide chip shortage.

Others claim the four iPhone 12 models are the company’s priority, and having very similar but cheap 11 Pro models could cut into the sales of the newer models.

As with everything Apple do, the decision will have been around money.
