ALDI Take On Breville With $299 Premium Espresso Machine

German supermarket giant, ALDI, has taken on the likes of Sunbeam and Breville, with the launch of a Stirling premium espresso machine for just $299 – backed by a three year warranty.

The product will go on sale as part of ALDI’s Saturday May 25 ‘Special Buys’ sale, with “limited stock” available as per norm.

The espresso machine boasts a 19bar pressure pump, 2.1L water tank capacity and thermoblock heating system.

Offering single or double shot buttons, the machine offers high pressure frothing functionality, a cup warming area plus swivel steam/frothing and water dispensing wands.

The machine includes a heavy duty tamper, stainless steel milk jug and double shot filters.

The supermarket has continued to expand its range of stylish kitchen appliances, with the debut of a sleek 1.7L kettle ($49.99) and matching 4 slice toaster ($69.99).

The products are also backed by a three year warranty.

Also available on May 25 is a meat grinder with three different mincing discs ($89.99), integrated dishwasher ($399) and stand mixer ($69.99).
