After 24 Years Sony Pulls The Plug On Major Gaming Show

Sony the world’s #1 gaming console Company has pulled the plug on E3 2019, leaving Microsoft and Nintendo to prop up the US gaming event

Insiders claim that the decision could be because Sony is holding back plans to announce its next-generation console.

The exit is the first absence in the expo’s 24-year history by the Japanese Company.

Both Nintendo and Microsoft have stepped forward on social media to reassure fans that they will have a presence at next year’s show.

Nintendo who no longer holds a press conference at E3 will use the expo to make some of its biggest announcements by way of the E3 Nintendo Direct broadcast.

E3 2019 has already been dated and will take place from June 11th to June 13th, 2019, once again at the Los Angeles Convention Centre.
