Apple Nears Deal On Sydney Move

Apple is said to be in advanced discussions with the US-based owner Pembroke and industry executives expect the technology giant to lease about 5000sq m in the building.

If Apple makes the move to 20 Martin Place it would signal the uptick in technology companies’ interest in an area of the central CBD, usually favoured by financial and legal firms, writes The Australian.

Earlier in the year, LinkedIn agreed to take about 4500sq m of space in Charter Hall’s 1 Martin Place.

Apple currently occupies several floors in the Hilton Sydney building in George St, after it outgrew its purpose-built and award-winning building in suburban Frenchs Forest.
