Jawbone’s UP2 Activity Tracker Launching In Aussie Market

JawboneJawbone says the UP2 wristband is 45 per cent smaller than its predecessor and designed to fit “discretely” into users’ lives for 24/7 wear, sporting a low profile, with an anodised aluminium framework.

It connects to Jawbone’s UP app, providing access to services such as Smart Coach, an intelligent system that learns users’ habits, providing personalised guidance and feedback tailored to improve users’ sleep, diet and activity.

The UP2 additionally connects via Bluetooth to users’ smartphones, providing real-time progress reports.

Th shower and splash-resistant UP2 is equipped with a gentle vibrating motor that can be set as an alarm clock or activity reminder, with its rechargeable lithium ion battery lasting up to seven days on a single charge.

The UP2, in black diamond and light grey hex, will be available at Dick Smith, Harvey Norman, Officeworks, Apple and 24/7 Wearables, retailing for $149.00.
