Presto Adds New Content To Range Under eOne Deal

Presto Adds New Content To Range Under eOne DealAnnouncing the deal today, Presto stated both Presto TV and Presto Entertainment will have access to a range of new content, drawing on the eOne collection.

New content coming to Presto will include TV series The Firm, based on John Grisham’s best seller, and supernatural werewolf thriller Bitten.

The deal follows Presto’s announcement last month that it would “dramatically increase its content libraries” after confirmation of the Foxtel and Seven West Media joint venture.

Presto also recently entered an agreement with Quickflix, under which its movie and TV service will be distributed by Quickflix to its customer base.

“eOne has one of the best collections of current hit TV programs worldwide and we’re thrilled to add a top-tier selection of some of their most suspenseful and thought-provoking titles, including Hell on Wheels, Bitten, The Firm and The Slap, to Presto,” Presto TV interim CEO Shaun James commented.

“We’ve already had enormous success following the addition of The Walking Dead, which we recently acquired from eOne as an SVOD exclusive. Today’s news will solidify that success even further.”
