Apple Claims 72pc Of Business Device Activations In Q1

This is down slightly from 73 percent in Q4, but up from the 69 percent iOS claimed back in November, according to figures from Good Technology.

Good’s figures last year revealed that the iPhone 6 accounted for approximately 85 percent of new iPhones activated during the three-month period, while the bigger screen iPhone 6 Plus claimed 15 percent.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 was the most popular Android device used in the enterprise, and Google’s Android operating system claimed 26 percent of device activations.

Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system, despite its strong business focus, claimed just one percent of enterprise customers in the first quarter.
