Using the remote play function, users can stream games from the console to a screen in a different location, over the Internet connection.
Currently, the streaming can be receivable only via Sony smartphones and Sony’s own portable game device Vita and Vita TV. Rival Microsoft is already offering a similar service for its Xbox One users.
Sony said it has sold more than 30.2 million units of PlayStation 4 consoles, making it the fastest-selling Sony videogame console ever.
