ARM Relaxed Over Q3Revenue was up 24 percent at US$375 million, while
sales rose 17 percent. Royalty revenue, the money ARM gets when devices that
use its licences are sold, rose 35 percent to $203 million.

The positive results come as ARM sees stronger demand for its higher-margin
designs for 64-bit semiconductors.

ARM said the powerful chips are being built into newer devices such as Apple’s
iPhone 6 and Samsung’s S6, and may ultimately end up in half of all
smartphones.
