EXCLUSIVE:Former Samsung VP Of Sales Takes Senior Role With Distie

Richardson who was credited with increasing Samsung sales in Australia, previously worked for Philips. 

He replaces Charbel Younis a former Harvey Norman executive who left Tempo last month to join Dick Smith.

Tempo who are a major distributor in the consumer electronics market is responsible for the distribution in Australia of Philips TV’s, Hitachi appliances and TV’s several highly successful Aldi products, Arieti the Italian appliance brand which is owned by Delonghi, Polaroid Tablets and sound gear along with several other leading brands. 

Tempo Executive Ziad Yaacoub said “Michael Richardson has 25 years’ experience within the electronics industry both in Australia and New Zealand. He has extensive experience with retail distribution, strategic product marketing and building and nurturing business relationships within major national retailers”.

Talking about Tempo’s growth in Australia he said “Tempo is excited about the strong growth in its branded division”.
