Samsung Gets Serious About Sound, New Speakers To Be Revealed At CES 2015

Samsung Gets Serious About Sound, New Speakers To Be Revealed At CES 2015

They are also tipped to launch an expanded range of curved soundbars that include the WAM7500/6500 360-degree speakers.

Samsung introduced their curved soundbars earlier this year, and are looking to expand the line to four devices in 2015.

Their new “ring” speakers look slick and are based on a futuristic design.

There will be four different series of soundbars to choose from, designed to match Samsung’s curved TV sizes from that range from 45 to 78 inches in diameter. The 8500 series, in particular, will be equipped with a primary speaker at the center and additional speakers on either side to create a wider surround-sound experience.

The new WAM7500 stand model and the WAM6500 movable model of speakers, Samsung claims, can provide a high-quality balanced audio experience regardless of where the listener is in relation to the device. This is due to the “Ring Radiator” technology, developed by Samsung at its new lab in Valencia, California. Both the floor and movable model have a clean, sleek look that reminds one of the industrial design of the Buy N Large ship from the movie Wall*E.

More information about the new and expanded audio lineup from Samsung will be released at CES, we will bring you live pictures and information.
