Belkin Appoints Cellnet

Ingram Micro, which is the US company’s main distributor, recently merged Brightpoint into their mainstream operation in Australia. The Brightpoint
operation which is now called Ingram Micro Mobility is a main competitor to
Cellnet.

Belkin management said that Cellnet will distribute Belkin’s
smartphone and tablet accessories for Apple, Samsung and HTC along with WeMo,
Belkin’s new home automation range.

Jason Pollock, Telecoms Business Development Manager for
Belkin ANZ, said “Cellnet is the ANZ leader in telco accessories, supply chain
services & distribution, making this partnership a natural choice. Through
this distribution agreement we are strategically building our presence in this
important and growing area for Belkin.”
