Turtle Beach Launches First Officially Licensed PlayStation Headset
Turtle Beach has announced the Atlas 200, its first officially licensed wired gaming headset for PS5 and PS4.
Priced at $99.95, the headset will hit Australian stores on September 19, alongside multiplatform and PC-specific editions.
The Atlas 200 combines design cues from Turtle Beach’s Atlas Air and Recon 200 models, featuring 50mm Nanoclear drivers, closed-back earcups and a unidirectional flip-to-mute microphone.
Weighing just 280 grams, it’s designed for long gaming sessions with an adjustable floating headband, memory foam ear cushions and the company’s ProSpecs glasses-friendly comfort.

The PlayStation edition will be available in black or white with blue accents and the PlayStation logo. The multiplatform and PC Edition models come in black with grey accents, with the PC Edition also including a USB audio adapter and extra features via Turtle Beach’s Swarm II desktop app.
Turtle Beach CEO Cris Keirn said: “By blending some of the best elements of our fan-favourite Atlas and Recon headsets, we’ve created an exceptionally lightweight and comfortable new model that delivers an immersive audio experience.”
The headset is compatible with PS5, PS4, Xbox, Switch, PC and mobile via a 3.5mm jack.
