Its Sony a77 ..Part II
Sony’s Alpha 77 get a makeover.

The new A-mount DSLR camera – a77 II – boasts the world’s highest phase-detection AF point count – 79 points with 15 cross points. The DSLR’s 24.3 megapixel Exmor CMOS image sensor has a super wide ISO 100-25600 sensitivity range – for ultra detailed stills and video in Full HD, of course.
a77 II builds on the original a77 and a700, but sensitivity range is 20 per cent more than the a77. The lens also has gapless on-chip lens structure as per Sony’s a7R and a6000 cameras.
The pro- like interchangeable lens alpha camera goes on sale this June for RRP $1,499, which is pricier than the a77.
Translucent Mirror Technology has super intelligent AF tracking and captures up to 60 (full-res) frames at a continuous shooting speed of 12 frames per second, similar to pro cameras. It has a XGAOLED viewfinder with five display modes.
The a77 II is also mobile ready with NFC/Wi-Fi for one-touch sharing to Android phones, Instagram, Facebook. You can also use your phone to control the camera.
Sony says its new alpha DSLR outpaces the video capabilities found on pro cameras and takes Full HD 50p video.
The new-generation 79 point phase detection AF system aids accurate focusing, even with horizontally-striped subjects that can confuse cameras and performs well in low light. It supports apertures up to F2.8, with precision on max strength when using large-aperture lenses.
The a77 II has a suite of new AF functions, including Expanded Flexible Spot mode maintains focus even if the selected point loses track and activates eight surrounding AF points; Lock-on AF mode selects one of four AF area modes (Wide, Zone, Flexible Spot or Expanded Flexible Spot) as the subject moves or framing changes; Eye AF function focuses on the subject’s eyes, handy for selfies.
The interchangeable lens cam is made of a tough, light magnesium alloy body with a large, contoured grip.
It has dust – and moisture-resistant seals around main buttons and controls. The camera’s durable shutter unit is rated for 150,000 activations.
The a77 II has a family of 28 A-mount lenses and works with Minolta/Konica Minolta lenses.
