Telstra Outage Takes EFTPOS, ATMs Offline

An outage affecting Telstra’s enterprise data services has knocked out access to EFTPOS and ATMs in some areas.

The telco said it’s currently investigating the issue, which is impacting “a number of enterprise customers nationally”.

Telstra apologised “for any issues caused” said it will provide an update once it knows more.

The outage is also having a significant impact on the major banks, with Commonwealth Bank, NAB, Westpac and ANZ all reporting problems.
