Telstra is offering its mobile customers a free six-month membership to Apple Music, with the offer available to existing postpaid and recontracting customers on 12 or 24-month Go Mobile plans.
The offer, available from today, comes with the second album from Australian band The Avalanches making its way to Apple Music.
“Aussie electro-music group The Avalanches are back,” Telstra today wrote via a blog post. “And we’re celebrating by rewarding Telstra customers with more of their favourite tunes through a free six-month membership to Apple Music.”
Telstra states that customers can activate their membership by downloading the Telstra 24×7 app and clicking on the customer prompts.
While Apple Music membership is free under the offer, customers will be charged for data usage.
Following the end of the six-month offer, customers will roll on to a paying subscription unless they cancel Apple Music, cancel their plan or move to a ineligible plan, with a monthly membership fee of $11.99 to be billed to their Telstra account.
