Swoop Back On ASX

Telecommunications company Swoop has relisted on the ASX following a 15-fold oversubscribed $20 million capital raise.

The fixed wireless and wholesale network infrastructure carrier chaired by Vocus founder James Spenceley is a combination of Swoop Telecom, formerly Cirrus Communications and NodeOne the West Australian based wireless infrastructure provider.

Swoop currently operates one of the largest fixed wireless networks in Australia with 246 towers across all mainland states and 120 staff.

Proceeds from the raise will enable Swoop to further expand its infrastructure nationally in both metropolitan and regional locations.

Some new funding is also flagged for potential acquisitions to grow its products and offerings to customers.
