Swann Takes On Ring With Wi-Fi Floodlight Security System

Security camera vendor, Swann has unveiled a Wi-Fi enabled Floodlight Security System with a full HD 1080p camera, voice control, and heat and motion detection. Available now at $299.95.

Featuring Swann’s True Detect heat and motion sensing tech which activates two super-bright 2500 lumen LED floodlights, a siren, video recording and sends alerts to the connected mobile device when triggered.

The floodlights aim to capture high definition footage day or night in full colour to help determine facial details, clothing colours, car models as well as startling any intruders.

All system configurations like light brightness, siren/audio volume, and turning it on and off can be controlled and updated via a mobile device.

The system provides two-way audio via the app and is integrated with both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa to control via voice commands and see the video feed on Chromecast or Echo Spot, Echo Show or 4K Fire TV.

Footage can be stored on the security system’s local memory for up to seven days, or be uploaded to the cloud for two days.

Consumers also have the option to upgrade to Swann’s ExtraSafe plan for longer cloud storage.

The Floodlight Security System is available in a black casing from May 2019 in-store and online at $299.95 RRP at JB Hi-Fi, Bunnings, Kogan.com, Amazon.com.au and more.
