SVS introduced their newest Ultra Evolution Speakers at CES 2024 and some of the model’s designs had some serious curves, which SVS claims to be functional and aesthetically interesting.
According to SVS, the chamfered front baffle and flush-mounted drivers of the star of the line, the SVS Ultra Evolution Pinnacle, adds to its acoustic capabilities by decreasing diffraction and standing waves. Both of these can negatively impact sound quality.
The new high-performance models introduced included a range of tower models, bookshelf speakers, a three-way center channel, and an elevation speaker, ideal for audiophiles and home theatre enthusiasts.
Here is the breakdown of the speakers below.
- Ultra Evolution Pinnacle (largest floorstander) – possesses a centrally placed 1-inch Diamond Coated Tweeter, dual 5.25-inch glass fiber composite midrange drivers, and four 8-inch woofers, all contributing to its impressive acoustic capabilities.
- Ultra Evolution Titan (middle sized floorstander) – is a 3-way tower speaker offering a 1-inch Diamond Coated Tweeter, dual 4.5-inch glass fiber composite midrange drivers, and quad 6.5-inch woofers. SVS says that the speakers have superb dynamics and deep, forceful bass.
